What qualifications do TPG teachers have?
All TPG teachers hold the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Education (verified by NACES-approved evaluators), have minimum 2 years of full-time K-12 teaching experience, are currently employed as teachers, demonstrate English fluency, and obtain state teaching certification in their placement state.
What does it cost to host a TPG exchange teacher?

How long can international teachers stay?
The J-1 visa is initially issued for 3 years. If both the teacher and school wish to continue, teachers can apply for a 2-year extension (subject to Department of State approval) for a total of up to 5 years, before they leave the United States to bring their experience and growth back to their home country.
